I had heard that shoppers were still finding McCain Fries on unmarked clearance at Meijer, so I've continued to check the shelves for the last couple weeks with no luck. Tonight, however, I discovered the rumor was true!
Meijer in Fraser (15/Utica) had restocked with bags of the following for $0.69 each!
- Beer-Battered Fries
- Seasoned Spirals
- Seasoned CrossTrax (waffle fries)
Combine that clearance sale with McCain coupons (from 5-3 SS) - depending on the newspaper, some were $0.75/1, $1.00/1 or $1.00/2 - to get bags anywhere from FREE to $0.19 each!
NOTE: Sterling Heights and Utica locations appear to have removed the shelf tags for McCain fries, so the deal may be already dead there.

I think I grabbed the last 2 bags at the 15 & Utica store this morning!
