Clinton Township Festival of the Senses
Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Clinton Township Civic Center at 40700 Romeo Plank Road
This FREE weekend family festival features 100 of the best exhibitors, plus great food, entertainment and activities designed to tempt all of your five senses! Don't forget to stop by the Hungry Wolf Gourmet booth for some delicious samples (and great deals with the Macomb Money Savers offer)! If you haven't already, don't forget to enter the Hungry Wolf Gourmet Giveaway!
A variety of activities featuring the senses await youngsters attending this year's festival! For sound, there will be windchimes; sachet projects for smell; gumdrop sculptures for taste, marble painting for sight and scratch paper projects for touch, along with other action stations. New this year will be a giant chess game donated to the department by McDonalds.
HISTORICAL ACTIVITIES
Saturday 1:00pm to 3:00pm - Candle Making
Sunday 1:00pm to 2:00pm - Paper Toys & 2:00pm to 3:00 pm - Vegetable Painting
Rope making, corn shucking and periodic quilting classes will be available on both days.
A blacksmith will be on site during the festival.
