Home Depot is hosting a FREE Kitchen Updates Do-It-Herself Workshop on September 24. This workshop is designed exclusively for women and will teach you how to tackle projects around the house while saving you money by doing it yourself. You'll gain the confidence necessary to improve your kitchen and stretch your budget as you learn the following skills:
- Cabinet refinishing
- Cabinet painting and staining
- Changing cabinet hardware
- Replacing a sink
- Replacing a faucet
- Changing/upgrading lighting
You can even prepare for your workshop by assessing the current state of your kitchen (using a printable worksheet from the Home Depot website) and bringing photos with you! We recently changed our kitchen faucet - and it made such a difference that I wish I would have done it years ago (anything to make doing dishes more enjoyable)! Now our cabinets are looking a little shabby, so I'm thinking about attending the workshop just to learn a little more...
