**MEIJER MEALBOX STORE COUPONS - You may want to print a copy of the Meijer Mealbox store policy, as posted here on the Mealbox Website and keep it with your shopping list to show your cashier (in case they aren't familiar with corporate policy):
1.) Mealbox coupons may be used in addition to Manufacturer coupons.
2.) Mealbox coupons may be used each time a condition is met, which could be multiple times per transaction. (For example: a coupon for $1.00 off 2 soups can be used multiple times if you have a coupon printed and the number of soups purchased matches, i.e. 2 coupons = 4 soups.)
3.) Mealbox coupons cannot be doubled or tripled at any time.
4.) Stores have the right to limit the quantity of items to normal retail purchases per transaction.

- MOST Macomb Meijer stores will double coupons up to $0.50, but no more than 2 identical coupons per transaction. Additional identical coupons will be redeemed at face value. You may want to call your location before shopping to verify. The Clinton Township location on Groesbeck will double ONE identical $0.50 or less coupon per transaction. For best savings on multiple items with coupons that will double, break your order into multiple transactions (this is most easily done at the U-scan).
- You can print 2 copies of each printable coupon per computer, with some exceptions. Use your back button and refresh the screen if necessary or return to the original coupon link. You can print as many Meijer Mealbox coupons as you'd like.
- When a particular sale item is out of stock, be sure to ask your cashier or a customer service assistant for a raincheck.

I have a meijers coupon, the kind that comes out with your register tape that says redeem at Meijers only, for Stouffers pizzas. I would like to use that today at Krogers and wondering if Krogers would take that coupon?? I have wanted to use those coupons at other stores on several occasions but never asked. Does it vary from store to store?
ReplyDeleteIf it is a manufacturer's coupon, then it SHOULD be redeemable at other stores. It will vary by store and cashier, however. Personally, I've never had luck with it. They see another store's logo and almost instantly turn it away. You can always ask at the customer service desk before shopping to be sure.
ReplyDeleteI spent several years working in the cash office of a grocery store. As long as the coupon's tagged "manufacturer" and not "store" and does not specify "redeemable only at..." (as opposed to "redeemable at," which CAN be used elsewhere ... the "only" is key), then the store redeeming the coupon will receive credit for it.
ReplyDeleteI've had plenty of success in redeeming check out coupons at stores other than the one they're issued from -- but I've run into cashiers that simply wouldn't do it--you will too. Ironically, Walmart -- which itself doesn't offer check out coupons -- is the most aggressive in accepting them. I've redeemed plenty of "Save $5 Off Your Next Shopping Order" (yes, most of these ARE manufacturer's coupons) at Walmart.
Speaking of Walmart, notice how they're undercutting Meijer's "everyday best price" campaign. Example: Meijer lowered its everyday price on Campbell's cream soups to $.69 (from $1.09), which matched Walmart's price, but Walmart's responded by lowering its price to $.57. Plenty of other examples.

ReplyDeleteYou have links for printable coupons, such as Knorr pasta, that go straight to print. It just says connecting and nothing happens (after I hit ready to print). I had this happen the other day with something, but you had 2 different links for that item and one worked.

I needed some spreadable butter too so I picked up a Can't Believe spread hoping the catalina would work for those too, but no luck. Cashier asked if my coupons were printed from the Internet (they obviously were) and made a point to let me know they have been having trouble with people making copies of printables.

Christina, did you happen to purchase a flavored variety (like vanilla or hazelnut)? We didn't receive a $1 catalina with the flavored Maxwell Houses that were on sale - for some reason, it must be tagged to the more traditional varieties.

I noticed you can print coupons from the Lysol website for many of their products, one of which is the Lysol All-Purpose Cleaner (spray or pourable). It is on sale for $2 this week, and with the $1/1 it would only be $1!

I did not see a sign up stating that there would be a $1 catalina. However I was delighted to get the coffee at !.49 each but without a $1 Catalina I think that I won't get more.

However, the Grands Catalina offer was only valid through Nov 1, so if you did it today, you'd only get the $2 Catalina for the ICBINB sticks. Whether you buy 1 or 10 boxes of sticks, you'll still only get one $2 Catalina, so your best bet is to purchase one per transaction.

Anyone know if the can't believe its not butter catalina is still going? I went this morning (Okemos, MI) and there was a sign by the sticks telling of the catalina deal, but when I checked out no cat. printed. Had them do it at the Service counter. Then tonight went back and the sign was gone from by the butter sticks- so I didn't try it just in case it wasn't working anymore. Any ideas??
ReplyDeleteMolly, next week's ad (11-8) has that Catalina offer printed on the back in a small box. If you need verification, you'll have it then. It could be that a customer took the sign because they needed to prove it. Meijer's not losing any money on the deal, so they shouldn't be too concerned!

It did work this time. I checked again to see for any signs (Maumee store) and none were up anywhere. Frustrating!
