The $5 Catalina didn't print when I purchased the condensed soup and Pepperidge Farm Garlic Bread this morning. Did anyone else have this problem?

ReplyDeleteI did the soup/bread deal and bought the "family size" white bread. The bread was $3.79 so it's not as good a deal, but the $5 catalina printed and since my kids (and husband) won't eat the heavy wheat breads it was still a great deal for us!

Here is what worked and did not work for me today:

*The Meijer Mealbox Q for ziploc did not work (I went to customer service and they fixed my receipt)
*Did not get $1.00 off milk Q for buying the pilsbury "simply" cookie dough. Did get $2.00 off next order for buying 4 though.
*Shredded cheese did not print a Q because the cashier said that 2% did not work.

ReplyDeleteI did the soup and bread deal and they paid me money to do it! Bought 5 cream soups and a loaf of fresh whole wheat bread for 2.49. Then did the penny trick at the self check so I could use the $5 Q on the same transaction and the self check paid me $.24! I have to go back again!

ReplyDeleteThe $5 soup/bread catalina rolls. I did 4 transactions in a row with just bread and soup and got a little change back on each transaction! I also noticed that the Italian Sesame bread is only $2.49. The price on the shelf is marked higher and the receipt didn't have a * next to it indicating a sale price, but it rang up at $2.49 at the two stores I shop.
ReplyDeleteI also did not get the $1.00 Meijer Gallon Milk purchase when buying the Pillsbury Simply cookie dough (I bought 4). I did get the $2.00 Pillsbury catalina though!
ReplyDeleteThe mealbox q for Ziploc didn't work for me either. Also, I bought 2 pillsbury "simply" cookie doughs and did not get the milk coupon either. (hartland, MI)
ReplyDeleteThe penny trick is after you ringup your stuff, put a penny in where you pay and your catalina will print so you can use it on that transaction. Then go back and use all your coupons. Another catalina will not print but it makes it less out of pocket!

ReplyDeleteThe Breakstone's Cottage Doubles price is accurate; the catalina deal worked for me today. The 16/VD store had a tag advertising the "new lower everyday price" of $1.00. My husband and son love those, so thanks for the heads-up!!

I went a few days ago to get the pepperidge farm bread and soup and it didn't work for me either. If I took in my receipt and just the bread in to exchange it for the fresh then would they make the adjustment or would I have to take the soup in and repurchase that also?
ReplyDeleteAlso I went back last night to get the Voila dinners with my meijer mealbox coupon to get the free dessert that I got the other night and the sign was taken down (Maumee store). Should I take that to mean the sale is over?
Call your Meijer store and ask either a customer service employee or manager how they would handle the transaction if you're not sure. Otherwise you can always take a chance in person.
ReplyDeleteThe Voila/Cheesecake deal is advertised in the Frozen Food ad and was to be valid through 10-31. If they took the sign down, it's just to discourage the offer; unless they post a misprint or correction, it should still work.
