"WHAT'S A CLOTHES SWAP?"
This is a totally FREE event, with NO obligation to bring anything or take anything. It's called a "swap" because so many people bring clothes that no longer fit, and take what they need.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
At home, sort and fold CLEAN clothes (clothes you wouldn't mind putting on your family to go out in public) by size into boxes or bags, with the clothes sorted by size. Our volunteers will sort the items onto the proper tables for the next day's swap. You may also donate clean, gently used toys and books.

Next comes the fun part. On SATURDAY you can go to the tables with the size clothes you're looking for, and take what you need. Free of charge. No strings attached. There are no minimums or maximums. Some families are looking to clean out the clothes they no longer need. They bring boxes of clothes in, and sometimes leave with just one or two "special" things. Other families are really in need of clothes, and come with little or nothing, but can leave with a bag of clothes. Others bring what they took last season for another family to take this time, and bring home another season's worth themselves, to start the process again.

THIS IS FOR INDIVIDUALS ONLY
NO charities, NO shelters, and NO resale.

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?
Look for clothes you might like to bring. Wash, fold, and sort them by size. Then call all your friends and family and ask them to do the same. Come alone or as a group to the swap! Clothes swapping is even more fun when you can share your great finds with friends.
WHAT SIZES?
All sizes of baby, kids and adults clothing (including coats, shoes, and accessories). All clothing MUST BE CLEAN and should be free of rips, stains, and tears. Fabric and baby accessories are welcome.

*PLEASE NOTE: For safety reasons, children must be supervised.

NEW ... EARLY PASS for Friday drop-offs
Want to get in a half hour before the rest of the crowd? Drop off your donation of clothes to us on Friday, we will give you a special pass that entitles one person to enter the room at 9:30 a.m.

We want to be fair….To give everyone a fair chance to pick out clothes, you may fill one bag at a time. Put the filled bag in your car and if needed, re-enter the Clothing Swap to fill another bag. You may make as many trips as you need, but you MUST take each bag out to your vehicle separately.

Get the latest details on Facebook.

Be sure to also join the Yahoo group, as this is the main means of announcing the swaps. You will get little mail, maybe 10-15 messages per year, and they will just be announcements about swaps.
