Kmart: Super Double Coupon Matchups June 7-13, 2009

Take a look at your Kmart Weekly ad (or call your local store to ask if they're participating in the event). Participating stores feature details in their ads, usually on the front cover (look for a big red block in the lower left-hand corner):

SOME HELPFUL HINTS:

• Your BEST BET is always to shop early in the week. Be prepared for the shelves to be emptied of what you were looking for (especially near the end of the week). Kmart does not keep a lot of items in stock.

• Remember that prices can vary according to location and may change at any time. You may find that the deals are not as good when you get to your store - and though disappointing, it is part of the game.

• Internet printable coupons are supposed to be accepted at Kmart stores, but there is some disagreement on whether or not they will double. It may depend on your store and/or cashier. At the last event, Kmart stores seemed to double printable coupons, and SuperKmart stores generally refused them.

THE COUPON RULES:

• MANUFACTURER COUPONS UP TO & INCLUDING $2 VALUE WILL DOUBLE at participating stores.

• Amount of credit from doubling a coupon cannot exceed the current retail price of a single item. No cash or in-store purchase credit will be awarded for any amount exceeding the retail price of the item.

• Limit 1 coupon for each item purchased. Only 1 coupon will be doubled per item.

• You may only purchase 4 of the same item using double coupons. Buy One, Get One offers, Kmart Savings coupons and Kmart Store coupons are excluded from this promotion. Coupons do not apply to sales tax.

• Limit 10 coupons per customer per day.

• Offer excludes products prohibited by law, including but not limited to alcohol, tobacco, and prescription medication. Not valid on non-merchandise, federal or state regulated items, prior purchases, Lands’ End, Sears merchandise rung on Sears registers within Kmart and kmart.com.

• In the event of a return, coupon savings may be deducted from the refund.

• Exclusions apply (no Kmart store coupons, Pharmacy coupons, copies of coupons, etc).
Please see store associate for details.

• MY NOTE: Coupons that state "do not double" and show a bar code beginning with 9 will not double under any circumstances. Computers are programmed to recognize these coupons.

COUPON OFFERS

___________________________________________________

*DOUBLE COUPONS - This deal requires a coupon to DOUBLE at Meijer. Note that most Macomb-area Meijer stores will double only 2 identical coupons (up to $0.50) per transaction. See notes below.

**MEIJER MEALBOX STORE COUPONS - Meijer store policy, as posted here on the Mealbox Website. You may want to print a copy of this and keep it with your shopping list to show your cashier (if they aren't familiar with corporate policy):
1.) Mealbox coupons may be used in addition to Manufacturer coupons.
2.) Mealbox coupons may be used each time a condition is met, which could be multiple times per transaction. (For example: a coupon for $1.00 off 2 Soups can be used multiple times if you have a coupon printed and the number of soups purchased matches, i.e. 2 coupons = 4 soups.)
3.) Mealbox coupons cannot be doubled or tripled at any time.
4.) Stores have the right to limit the quantity of items to normal retail purchases per transaction.
You may NOW use more than one identical Mealbox coupon per transaction, but note that the computer may only deduct one automatically - the rest may require cashier approval, so watch carefully.

(10/$10, 11th free) ITEMS - These sale items may be purchased individually at $1.00. For the best savings ($0.91 each after free item), mix and match these in groups of 11.

Please let me know if you see any other good deals I've forgotten to mention (we could ALL benefit from your contributions)! View the Meijer Ad online here (available on Sunday).

Other Reminders:

• MOST Macomb Meijer stores will double coupons up to $0.50, but no more than 2 identical coupons per transaction. The new Cass/Groesbeck location will double no more than one (of each identical) per transaction. The Fraser location (15/Utica) sometimes will double 3. You may want to call your location before shopping to be sure.

• You can print 2 copies of each printable coupon per computer. Use your back button and refresh the screen if necessary or return to the original coupon link. You can print as many Mealbox coupons as you'd like.

• If a particular sale item is out of stock, be sure to ask your cashier or a customer service assistant for a raincheck.
