Kmart: Super Double Coupons Sept 27-Oct 3, 2009

Sorry for the late notice on this deal! No one could confirm what Kmart would be doing; some sources speculated that only P&G insert coupons would double. Since the super double coupon rules have been getting worse with each event, I wasn't sure what to expect. This time, you won't find any indication in your Kmart Weekly ad; you'll need to visit or call your local store to confirm that they're participating in the event. According to The Sharp Scissors Lady, most Michigan stores will be joining in on the fun (you can take a look at the list of participating stores here)!

I am unsure how many coupons will be allowed double. Most shoppers seemed to indicate that they weren't limited in the amount of coupons they were allowed to use. You may want to ask at the customer service desk before shopping!

SOME HELPFUL HINTS:

• Your BEST BET is always to shop early in the week. Be prepared for the shelves to be emptied of what you were looking for (especially near the end of the week). Kmart does not keep a lot of items in stock.
  
• Remember that prices can vary according to location and may change at any time. You may find that the deals are not as good when you get to your store - and though disappointing, it is part of the game.
  
• Internet printable coupons are supposed to be accepted at Kmart stores, but there is some disagreement on whether or not they will double. It may depend on your store and/or cashier. At the last event, Kmart stores seemed to double printable coupons, and SuperKmart stores generally refused them.

THE COUPON RULES:

• MANUFACTURER COUPONS UP TO & INCLUDING $2 VALUE WILL DOUBLE at participating stores.
  
• Amount of credit from doubling a coupon cannot exceed the current retail price of a single item. No cash or in-store purchase credit will be awarded for any amount exceeding the retail price of the item.
