Kmart: Super Double Coupon Matchups July 5-11, 2009

Take a look at your Kmart Weekly ad (or call your local store to ask if they're participating in the event). Participating stores feature details in their ads, usually on the front cover (look for a big red block in the lower left-hand corner).

  • Your BEST BET is always to shop early in the week. Be prepared for the shelves to be emptied of what you were looking for (especially near the end of the week). Kmart does not keep a lot of items in stock.
  • Remember that prices can vary according to location and may change at any time. You may find that the deals are not as good when you get to your store - and though disappointing, it is part of the game.
  • Internet printable coupons are supposed to be accepted at Kmart stores, but there is some disagreement on whether or not they will double. It may depend on your store and/or cashier. At the last event, Kmart stores seemed to double printable coupons, and SuperKmart stores generally refused them.

  • You must purchase $25 (total before coupons).
  • Amount of credit from doubling a coupon cannot exceed the current retail price of a single item. No cash or in-store purchase credit will be awarded for any amount exceeding the retail price of the item.
  • Limit 1 coupon for each item purchased. Only 1 coupon will be doubled per item.
  • You may only purchase 4 of the same item using double coupons. Buy One, Get One offers, Kmart Savings coupons and Kmart Store coupons are excluded from this promotion. Coupons do not apply to sales tax.
  • Limit 10 coupons per customer per day.
  • Offer excludes products prohibited by law, including but not limited to alcohol, tobacco, and prescription medication. Not valid on non-merchandise, federal or state regulated items, prior purchases, Lands’ End, Sears merchandise rung on Sears registers within Kmart and
  • In the event of a return, coupon savings may be deducted from the refund.
  • Exclusions apply (no Kmart store coupons, Pharmacy coupons, copies of coupons, etc).
Please see store associate for details.
  • MY NOTE: Coupons that state "do not double" and show a bar code beginning with 9 will not double under any circumstances. Computers are programmed to recognize these coupons.

Since other big-time bloggers have done such a fantastic job of posting Kmart matchups, I won't attempt to duplicate their efforts. Check out these AMAZING comprehensive matchup lists to see ALL of the great deals:

And don't forget to give us YOUR shopping report! :)

  1. I have the actual ads from the Detroit Free Press and Monroe Evening News that were distributed in the 48162 zip code - and double-checked them on line.

Monroe store has a limit of 10 coupons.

The Southgate and Taylor stores (Super K's) have a limit of 25 coupons.
