Well, the good news is that Metro Detroit Kmart stores are participating in next week's Super Double Coupon event. The bad news is that Kmart has once again altered the details of the offer. Take a look at this rather large change:
Limit 10 coupons per customer per day. You may only purchase 4 of the same item using double coupons.
"Super Double Coupons
with purchase of $25 or more in grocery and drugstore merchandise"
According to Common Sense with Money, this $25 requirement is BEFORE coupons.

Is the $25 requirement before coupons?
ReplyDeleteYMMV - but I had seen somewhere that this $25 applies BEFORE coupons. Perhaps we should confirm before posting, though?
ReplyDeleteHeres a match up that is already done:

Also there are Catalina coupons that come from Unilever/ Kimberly Clark / SC Johnson purchases (also noted in the above post). I happen to have 4 different KMarts with in 5 miles of my house and I think I may drag my husband along too. If I hit up the furthest two stores he and I, we check out separate, I should be able to get 3 or 4 Catalina coupons and then be able to get tons of free stuff if I truck over to the next couple stores. It is low priority though, I will be shopping Friday at VGs, Meijer's and Kroger on Friday, then hit up KMart on Monday. As a newbie the VGs + Kmart is a great way for me to build up my stockpile for cheap!
Monroe MI Kmart will be included in that promotion, according to what I'm seeing on Kmart.com.
ReplyDeleteI'm OK with the $25 purchase requirement but a limit of 10 coupons on top of the minimum purchase could get tricky.
