Farmer's Markets around Metro Detroit

Have you visited a Farmer's Market this year? You can find many wonderful Farmer's Markets around the Macomb area with great products to offer at harvest time. Check one out this weekend - they're a great way to get fresh produce at fair prices while supporting Michigan growers!

Detroit Eastern Market has it all. Street performers, a calendar photo contest, and farmers from Michigan, Ohio and Canada selling produce, breads, baked goods, jellies, jams, honey, apple cider, cheeses, spices, herbs, plants and flowers every Saturday, all year round. If you like flowers, don't miss 15-acres of prime annuals, perennials, foliage, shrubbery, trees, exotics, tropical plants, flats, hanging baskets and more on Flower Day, May 17. Help preserve the history and splendor of the market by taking a walking tour offered every Saturday for $10 at 10 a.m., May-September. If biking is more your style, guided cycling tours are available. Each month the best recipes, customers, and vendors are recognized, so get out and participate in the community this year.
