Mothers of Preschoolers: Are You Looking for Sanity?

Do you ever find Cheerios in the most unexpected places?
Is spaghetti a finger food at your house?
Can you spend time in the bathroom without attracting small visitors?

If you're the mom of kids between the stages of pregnancy through Kindergarten, you might be looking for some balance, a few good friends and someone who truly understands what each day is like for you!

From the MOPS website:

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) groups are communities that strive to meet the needs of every mom with children from birth through kindergarten. MOPS recognizes that urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be. MOPS groups can help!

There are more than 3900 MOPS groups meeting across the United States and in 35 countries around the world. MOPS groups meet regularly to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through the challenges.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) groups nationwide will begin another season this month (my group in Macomb kicks off the year this Tuesday) and it's a great time to find a group near you! MOPS has personally been a lifesaver for me for the past 5 years and I can't say enough wonderful things about it! ALL moms of kids 0 through Kindergarten are welcome! Some groups meet in the morning and others in the evening, usually twice each month. Most MOPS groups even have childcare available!

You can search for a group near you online here. Questions about MOPS? Please feel free to ask and I'll do my best to find you an answer!
