Kroger: February 1-7, 2010

The Mega Event Savings continue this week, so many deals are repeats! I still have a few deals to add, so check back later! I apologize if anything looks out of place in this post. Blogger is being less than user-friendly right now...

These Kroger matchups have been created using the Kroger store ad for the Metro Detroit area. I've listed only what I consider to be the best deals for your money this week. Please let me know if you see others worthy of making the list!

Please note the recent change in Kroger's coupon policy:
Limit 3 Manufacturer's Coupons will be Doubled (up to $0.50) per Like Items Purchased.

BIG-GAME GREATS! EVENT
BUY any 10 PARTICIPATING ITEMS and get $5.00 OFF INSTANTLY at checkout
Items must be purchased in one transaction using your Kroger shopper's card.

View this week's complete Kroger Ad.

* Macomb area Kroger stores currently
double coupons up to $0.50. However, as of October 2009, only 3 manufacturer's coupons will be doubled per like items purchased.

You WILL need a
Kroger card to take advantage of these offers; sign up for one at the Customer Service desk if you do not have one!
Select Kroger stores north of Macomb (Grand Blanc, Flint, Frankenmuth and more - view a full list here) will double manufacturer's coupons up to $1.00! This can mean a great savings (and some potential free items each week). If your travels happen to take you north, check the Kroger ad (search by zip code) for the areas you're passing through. You just might want to pack your coupons, too! Visit 1-2-3 Save for matchups that include doubles up to $1!
Take your own bags to Kroger and you'll receive a credit for $0.05 per bag used on your shopping order. You may need to remind your cashier to deduct your credit, however, as the computer will not do it automatically!
Load e-coupons to your Kroger card before you shop: visit Cellfire, Shortcuts and Kroger Digital Coupons. Each website lists the e-coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger Card so that you can save even more! E-coupons are limited to one use per card and will not double.

Thanks so much for taking the time to do this. I appreciate all the time & effort that goes into this!

  2. What page of the ad is the Hormel pepperoni on...I can't find it. Is this a everyday price or sale? Thanks.

  3. The Hormel pepperoni isn't shown on the traditional ad. Kroger actually features an additional 2 page ad online that lists even more items and you'll find it at Kroger.com (with the Hormel pepperoni advertised at the bottom of the first page).

    Hope that helps!

  4. Beware of the $2 extra off of 4 Pepsi products. This was not deducting correctly at the 21 Mile & Card Kroger. I went back in and explained to the customer service rep the problem. She tried to tell me that I got a better deal than I should have because the 6-pack bottles rang up 1.49 off of $3 not 1.49 off of the $4.49 regular price. After I stood my ground (nicely)she called a manager and SHE got out the calculator and agreed with me. They gave me the difference. Just thought I would let everyone know. I sometimes have a hard time figuring out the Kroger receipts when the sale price does not ring up, but deducts as an "automatic coupon" and THEN there is no subtotal before coupons and/or bottle returns! How can I do math in my head while trying to keep my kids from killing each other and my 4-year-old from pressing all the buttons?

  5. Thanks for all your wonderful work on your site.
I have a question about Krogers policy... do you know if they take BOGO coupons when they run BOGO sales?
    Thanks so much
    Jessie

  6. Hello - I just noticed on Hip2Save that you can print $0.75/1 Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers. That would make them $0.25/each paired with the Big Game sale!

www dot pepperidgefarm dot com (coupon is in the middle of the page and you can print it twice)

  7. Saving in the D- I was coming here just to type the very same thing! Thanks.

Also- I read on Makin' It in Michigan that some of the BIc razors are BOGO, and there is a BOGO in the 1/10SS. Sounds like FREE razors to me!

  8. Thank you for all your hard work! I wanted to let you kow that the Oikos yogurt is not regular price 1.00. It was 10/10 for the last two weeks and now is back to the regular price (2.39 I believe). At least at both Krogers in my area.

  9. I just did the razor deal at the Royal Oak Kroger on Coolidge south of Maple. They took my bogo coupon, so I ended up with 2 packs of razors. I checked the tax, and only paid tax on 1 pack!

Also, at my Kroger they had the Suave deoderant on sale for $1.00. I had the 75 cent coupon, so it was only 25 cents plus tax! They had Speed Stick deoderant (deoderant only, not antiperspirant of same size) on sale for 88 cents. The yellow tag didn't list when the sale was over, so I think they might be clearancing it. I had the 50 cent off coupon, so that 'doubled' up to 88 cents off, for a free deoderant. :)

  10. Can't find the Oscar Mayer Deli Creations Sandwich q. Is the link correct?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yes, the Oscar Mayer coupon was there. When new coupons came out in Feb, that coupon disappeared! I've updated.

  12. We were all talking about the Kroger Coupon book last week if you are on their mailing list and there are some coupons in there for the sales. There is a $1/4 Propel and another Quaker True Delights. I used those today.

  13. Velveeta or Kraft Deluxe mac & cheese dinners are $0.50 after Mega savings & this $1/2 IP: http://www.kraftrecipes.com/Products/SuperValuWholesale.aspx

Krusteaz Bakery Style cookie mixes are also $0.50 after Mega savings & the $1/1 coupon from 12-6 SS.

Post Raisin Bran (big box) is $0.49 after Mega savings & $2 IP from: http://www.postnatural.com/

Also, Softsoap pumps are on sale for $0.98 (not part of Mega event). Use the $0.35 coupon from 1-31 SS, or the $0.50 coupon from the March "All You" magazine to get it free/cheap!

  14. The select pepperoni on sale for $1 is the sandwhich pepperoni, not the little ones for pizza. You can still obviously use the big ones and just cut them up.
